Joan by Oksana Tandit, FW 2014

According to Oksana Tandit, her classically modern and at the same time cosmopolitan collection “Joan” has been inspired by the story of an iron lady, as well as integrating the elements of historical costume and Gothic architecture. “The lady for whom it is designed, is a modern citizen of a fashion metropolis, whose primary weapon that makes her invincible in all challenges, is her stylish and timelessly elegant outfit.” Oksana Tandit’s collection is being characterized by contrasts, strict silhouettes, effective dominating shoulder pads and the designer’s favorite: accordion pleats. Oksana is using in her collection the mixture of high quality materials, including effectively glinting leather, cashmere wool and silk. The color palette is autumnally hushed – elegant greys, aubergine-purple, velvety green -, but with an effective touch of glittering black.
